JESA history
Farm Purchase
The site was just bush and heavy forest, and an old spray race that used to breakdown every hour
ESTABLISHED 1987
Milk was transported every morning fresh from the cows in milk cans on a small pickup and delivered to our sales shop at EAGEN house where people would come with all sorts of containers and have it measured by the litre and sold on cash basis.
The demand for our high quality, unadulterated milk was so high that it was sold out even before the pick-up arrived. People would come as early as 7am and leave their containers in line like they do at water wells, and a couple of hour after offloading the cans would be empty. The scene was always very chaotic, like a village marketplace because of the numbers and the amount of milk.
Our first deliveries used to be about 350-400 litres. We now process about 200,000 litres a day!
